Founder’s Day Celebration and Alumnae Luncheon
October 3, 2015 - Shamblin Theatre, Lipscomb University
“I am driven for women to have a voice.”
Keynote Speaker Dee Anna Smith, CEO of Sarah Cannon, the Cancer Institute of HCA Healthcare
Graduates, mentors, and faculty of two Andrews Institute for Civic Leadership programs, Music City Girls Lead! and the Cable Executive Leadership Academy, came together to celebrate Music City Girls Lead! on October 4, 2015. The leadership of the Junior League of Greater Nashville engaged the MCGL! graduates in a community literacy project before a luncheon with Dee Anna Smith, whose generosity made possible the continuation of Music City Girls Lead! as a Nashville legacy project of the NCAA Women’s Final Four. Committed to the development of women and girls, she inspired the audience with her personal leadership journey and the importance of finding and using your voice, no matter your age.
“Let’s weave the tapestry of Nashville so that our voices are heard individually and heard collectively.”
